Data and legal basis

We use your name, email, delivery phone number, address or parcel locker, selected items and payment status to fulfil your order. The legal basis is contract performance. We retain accounting documents to comply with legal obligations. Security and fraud-prevention data, such as IP addresses and technical logs, may be processed for our legitimate interests. We rely on consent for newsletters and optional marketing cookies. UMU does not store full payment-card details.

Service providers and translation

We share necessary data with Montonio for payments, Omniva or DPD for delivery, and providers of email delivery, newsletters, accounting and technical hosting. We may use AI translation tools for customer correspondence. Do not send passwords, card details or unnecessary sensitive information. Marketing and analytics tools may include Meta, Google and Klaviyo according to the selected settings. For transfers outside the EEA, we apply an appropriate legal basis and safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. You may request details of recipients and safeguards by email.

Retention and your rights

We retain data for as long as needed to fulfil orders, address claims and meet applicable legal retention periods. We use marketing profiles until consent is withdrawn or they are no longer needed; a minimal suppression record may be retained to respect your choice. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability, and object where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. You may object to direct marketing at any time. You may complain to the Latvian Datu valsts inspekcija, Lithuanian Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija, Estonian Andmekaitse Inspektsioon or the supervisory authority where you live.
