Products, prices and ordering
Product descriptions, compositions, measurements and prices appear on product pages. Prices are in euros and include applicable taxes. Any delivery charge is shown before payment. Select your items, enter contact and delivery details, choose a payment method, review the total and confirm your order with an obligation to pay. Montonio provides payment processing; available methods appear at checkout. We email your payment confirmation and order information. If we cannot fulfil your order, we contact you and refund the amount received.
Production and delivery
UMU garments are generally made to order. The current production deadline appears on the product page; delivery time is additional. Available Omniva and DPD services, prices, parcel lockers and courier options appear at checkout. We will inform you of any expected delay. Risk passes to you when you or your nominated recipient, other than the carrier, receives the goods.
Withdrawal and returns
Consumers may withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason. Notify us through our returns portal or by email at studija@umu.lv. The portal is not the only permitted way to give notice. Include your name, order number, items and contact details. Send the goods back no later than 14 days after notifying us, following the shipping instructions provided in the portal. Returns using our designated method are free.
Condition and refunds
You may inspect and try on clothing as you would in a shop. You may be responsible for any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish its characteristics. On withdrawal from the whole order, we refund the price paid and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery, if paid. We refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, using the original payment method unless another method is agreed without extra cost. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or evidence that you sent them back, whichever comes first.
Exchanges
You may exchange a garment for another available size or length of the same model and colour. Register the exchange in the portal within 14 days of receipt. Exchange shipping using our designated method is free. We prepare the replacement after receiving and checking the original item. For a different model or colour, register a return and place a new order.
Individual adjustments
A standard size, colour or length is not an individual adjustment, even when sewing starts after ordering. Goods made to your individual specifications are generally excluded from the 14-day change-of-mind withdrawal right. Adjustments carry a 10% surcharge shown before purchase. This exception does not restrict your rights for faulty or non-conforming goods.
Faulty goods and disputes
If goods are faulty or do not match your order, email studija@umu.lv describing the problem. Consumers have statutory conformity rights for at least two years after delivery. Depending on the circumstances, remedies include repair, replacement, a price reduction or termination. The seller covers the cost of resolving a valid non-conformity claim. If we cannot resolve a dispute, you may contact your national European Consumer Centre for cross-border assistance or the competent consumer dispute resolution body. These terms do not remove mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
